Name: Adora Evans
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
Class year: Junior
Major: Communications and Chinese
Why did you decide to attend Nazareth College?
“My high school in Brooklyn is heavily recruited by Nazareth for the HEOP/ EXCEL program. I was one of the students they were recruiting. When I came to Nazareth for an overnight visit I was quickly convinced that this was the school I wanted to go to for the next four years. I am still glad that I came to Naz even though I do miss living in the city.”
What has been your favorite memory while you have been at Nazareth?
“One day I went to the canal with a couple of my friends. The canal was our hangout spot freshman year. Some of the boys decided to have a rock throwing contest. My boyfriend at the time threw the rock in the water the farthest, but as he was throwing it his brand new phone fell out of his pocket and onto the ground. We all just died of laughter because it was his luck that his two day old phone would fall onto the pavement. It still makes me laugh to this day.”
