Name: Goodwell Nzou
Hometown: Zimbabwe, Africa
Class year: Senior
Major: Chemistry
Why did you decide to attend Nazareth College?
“I wanted to go to America to help better my life. A friend I knew does speaking tours in America and in Zimbabwe and she told me about Nazareth. She told me how great the school was and how they were in the midst of building a new math and science building. That put Nazareth on my radar since I was interested in majoring in chemistry. I also love attention so I liked the idea of having small classes. I wanted and craved one on one time with my professors that I would have not been able to get going to a larger University. I believe that Nazareth will help me in my future.”
What do you like best about Nazareth?
“Other schools major focus is on students grades. They only want their students to focus on school and not consider bettering the community and society. At Nazareth we are huge advocates of community service and helping better the world we live in. Nazareth helps me think not just about myself but about also being a good global citizen.”
