Name: Selma Lotfi
Hometown: Rennes, France
Class year: Junior
Major: Political Science
Why did you decide to attend Nazareth College over anothercollege in the United States?
“My school in France has several partner schools here in the United States. I did my research on all of them and I just loved how beautiful Nazareth was. I also liked the idea of being in area where it snowed. In France it doesn’t snow much and when it does it doesn’t stick. Now since I have lived here during the winter I have decided that I hate snow and would rather be where it is sunny. I was looking for a smaller campus and Nazareth definitely had that criteria. I also liked all the sports and clubs that the school offered.”
What do you like best about Nazareth?
“I really like the athletic events because that is not a part of the college experience in France. There are no athletic teams at the University. It makes me feel proud of the school and it makes me feel like I am supporting my school. It makes you feel like you are a part of something.”
